Wuye

Wuye represents wealth and prosperity. As the son of the Dragon King or the incarnation of the God of Wealth, Wuye is regarded as a deity in charge of water and wealth, symbolizing abundant wealth and prosperous business. His image often holds magical tools such as gold ingots and treasure pots, praying for commercial success and materialabundance.

Peace and health, according to the legend of the Five Masters, possess divine powers such as demon slaying, mountain protection, and drought relief. They are believed to bless believers from disasters and ensure the health of their families. Water symbolizes the source of life in traditional culture, so the Five Elders are also endowed with the meaning of safeguarding health and safety. Wisdom and compassion, the Five Masters blend the Buddhist characteristics of Manjusri Bodhisattva, and some legends showcase his wisdom and compassion, such as manifesting to save the people and helping to seek children, symbolizing wisdom that transcends the secular world and care for sentient beings.
